2009 Artist Fellowship Program -- Cancelled

The board of directors of the Hampden-Sydney Music Festival announces that due to economic circumstances the annual coaching program for young ensembles, the Artist Fellowship Program, has been suspended for 2009; therefore, there will be no 7:00 p.m. Artist Fellows Prelude Performances. All other festival programs remain in place as planned and advertised. All of us associated with the Music Festival regret the absence of the young artist fellows this season. But we are very pleased and proud to maintain and present our 2009 season concert programs by our distinguished 2009 artist roster.
