Now from a distance, you can see the cliff I perched above, which was just about where the big church on the top of the hill meets the rock face on the left. The white-washed architecture characteristic of the Los Pueblos Blancos region of Andalucia is a leftover architectural feature from the Moorish influence in Southern Spain.
