Nick Deifel and Mike Wolyniak in which Prince Edward County High School science students made monthly visits to Gilmer Hall to work alongside H-SC students on long-term research projects.  The grant money will support an expansion of the project in 2016-17, including regular visits by H-SC students to Prince Edward County High School to work with the biology classes.

Conrad Brown '17, Josh Chamberlin '17, and Jason Halmo '17 will serve as student coordinators for the project, which will unite the efforts of several Hampden-Sydney student scientific societies, including the Chi Beta Phi honorary scientific fraternity, the Chemistry Club, the Society of Physics Students, and the Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity.
