Trout Unlimited
The Hampden-Sydney Chapter of Trout Unlimited is for students dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring wild trout throughout the State of Virginia and the surrounding region. "Whether they are planning and building stream improvement projects, working with the government to secure fish-friendly legislation, or teaching young people the importance of protecting wild fish and their habitat, TU members are actively engaged in the fight to preserve our precious trout and salmon resources."
The H-SC Chapter of Trout Unlimited holds monthly meetings with guests, speakers, and programs of interest. Additionally, we have a working partnership with the National Forest Service that we take advantage of. We are primarily comprised of, but not limited to, those that fly fish. We also have members that bait cast, and those who do not fish at all, but rather, have a direct interest in preserving wild trout streams.
Dues-paying members automatically become members of the National Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Trout Unlimited is an active, educational, non-political, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory organization.
