Yo Gurl FC nets the championship!

Congratulations to the #3
seed, Yo Gurl FC, for winning the 2005 Hampden-Sydney
College Intramural Soccer Championship. Yo Gurl
defeated the #4 seed, Team Formerly Known as the
Thundering Buffaloes, 4-3 in a game decided by penalty
kicks. Both teams were held scoreless in regulation and
the extra forcing the penalty kick situation.
Yo Gurl finishes the
season 6-1-1 while the Team Formerly Known finishes
6-3-0.
Games are played at 4, and 5 o'clock on the Lagoon field behind
Kirby Field House.
