telephone service has been included in your telecommunications fee. This does
not include cost of the telephone. To make long-distance calls, you must secure
a Resicom long-distance authorization code or use a long-distance calling card.
However, if you use some other long-distance provider, you may pay an additional
fee for the use of their card.

- Cable TV Connection
Every residence hall room is wired for cable television. All televisions will receive channels 2 through 68. Premium channels packages are available through Jet Broadband our cable signal provider. Hampden-Sydney College has no involvement with premium cable packages. This is a contract between Jet Broadband and the individual student. Arrangements can be made by visiting the Jet Broadband office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To drive to the Jet Broadband office, take the Back Hampden-Sydney Road towards Farmville, after going over the overpass of Route 460, and take your next left and the office is first building on the left. To report Cable TV problems, please call 6357. If a service call is necessary, a technician will go to the residence hall room upon appointment. ILLEGAL PIRACY OF PREMIUM CHANNELS OR OTHER ILLEGAL CONNECTIONS OR TAMPERING WILL BE HANDLED AS AN HONOR CODE OFFENSE.
