She was awarded the equipment through Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience. Dr. Clabough's projects include "Detection of Motor Abnormalities in a Chronic, Mild Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Model in Swiss Webster Mice," which is a joint collaboration with Dr. Carlita Favero in the Neuroscience Department at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, and "Behavioral Characterization of GRP56 Knockout Mice," which is a joint collaboration with Dr. James Foster in the Biology Department at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.

Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN) is an international organization that is focused on neuroscience education and research at the undergraduate level. The Equipment Loan Program was established in 2009 to help provide new investigators with access to resources to help them begin to grow and develop their research and pedagogical programs. Dr. Clabough will be incorporating the Roto-Rod system into courses she is teaching at H-SC.
