2018 New Student Fall Orientation - August 23 - 26

(Required for all new students, both freshmen and transfers)

The Fall Orientation Schedule will be posted in the coming months. Please see the Academic Calendar for information regarding the first day of classes, Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.

Fall Orientation will not only connect you with your classmates and the Hampden-Sydney community, but also will provide you with information about how to succeed in college. You will have the opportunity to explore our academic program, begin building a relationship with your academic advisor, and learn about the resources available to help you on your journey. During Orientation, you will meet new and current students, discover our many student-led clubs and organizations, and explore our beloved campus through social events. You will find that here at Hampden-Sydney you are not just "at college;" you are involved in a community that challenges you to become the best man you can be. In the meantime, if you need more information, feel free to contact Sandy Cooke. We wish you success and encourage you to take full advantage of all that the College has to offer.
