About the Seminar

The Student Success Seminar is a two-day, invitation-only workshop for select incoming students, hosted by the Office of Academic Success. You move in two days before regular orientation, skip the first-day chaos, and walk into orientation already knowing the campus, the resources, and a group of your classmates.
It's hands-on, small-group, and built around what actually matters in your first semester at Hampden-Sydney. And it's completely free!
