Hampden-Sydney College is located in Southside Virginia between Tidewater, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the James River. The historic 1340-acre campus lies five miles south of historic Farmville, the county seat of Prince Edward County and home to Longwood University. It is approximately 60 miles southwest of Richmond, 50 miles due east of Lynchburg, and 60 miles southeast of Charlottesville.

Inaugural Elite Summer Bridge Program Held

From July 14 to July 17, the Hampden-Sydney College Office of Culture and Community hosted 30 young men from across the country on campus for a transformative introduction to college.
Flemming Center Awarded ECI Grant

The Flemming Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been awarded a $48,000 grant from the Educating Character Initiative (ECI) at the Program for Leadership and Character through Wake Forest University.
H-SC Hosts Boys State of Virginia

From June 21 to June 27, Hampden-Sydney College proudly hosted 500 young men from across the commonwealth for the 83rd session of Boys State of Virginia.
