The financial return on investing in an education begins with your first job. Fortunately, Hampden-Sydney men begin their careers earning more than graduates from other schools. But in the meantime, the Office of Financial Aid is here to help you make your education more affordable.
During the past school year, Hampden-Sydney processed over $42 million in financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and employment. We have a need-based program to help families who cannot afford the total cost of the College, as well as a non-need-based program which awards Academic and Leadership Scholarships.
Hampden-Sydney College is committed to using the Principles and Standards of the College Cost Transparency Initiative in its student financial aid offer.
