The Communications & Marketing Office will take or pay for only those photographs which have been predetermined by our office to be used in a specific publication (print or digital), the website, or on social media.
If photographs are desired of an activity or event which does not meet the above criteria, they are the responsibility of the sponsor. If a sponsor wishes to engage and pay a contract photographer, the Office of Communications and Marketing, (firstname.lastname@example.org) will assist you. If you wish to borrow a camera, some are available in the Communications Office. Please allow advance notice of 3-4 days to reserve a camera. The library also has cameras to loan.
We regularly work with two contract photographers. Charges range from $75 to $100 an hour. These contract photographers do not work exclusively for the College, and availability depends on their schedules. They are usually not available on a few days' notice. If you wish to engage a contract photographer to cover an activity or event, you should contact the Office of Communications and Marketing at least 2 weeks in advance. You may still use the Communications Services photography request form.
