L-E-R Executive Partners Mentor Match

Icon representing two lighbulbsOur mentors have Learned, Earned, and are now ready to Return—giving back to help the next generation of Hampden-Sydney entrepreneurs take bold steps forward.

Connect with one of our official Flemming Center mentors. They have been approved by the Center and have agreed to collaborate closely with us to support students through business planning, prototyping, pitching, fundraising, marketing, and more. Our mentors each bring unique strengths and experiences, so you can meet with one or several mentors along the way.

They know what it takes to build something from the ground up, and they’re here to help you do the same!

Here’s how it works:

  • You’re in the driver’s seat. Mentors offer insights, ideas, and honest feedback—but every decision is yours to make.
  • Your ideas stay yours. What you share stays confidential. Mentors agree not to use or share non-public info.
  • We work together. All mentors coordinate with the Center to keep things aligned. If there are different takes on something, we’ll lay out your options and help you think through next steps.
  • This is about relationships, not transactions. Mentorship is built on trust, conversation, and shared curiosity. Great ideas get better when more perspectives are at the table.

You don’t have to go it alone. We’re here to help you find the right people at the right time—for whatever stage of the journey you’re in.
