My teaching interests center on helping students understand not only accounting concepts and regulations, but also the human behaviors behind organizational decisions. Courses of particular interest include accounting, taxation, fraud examination, business ethics, governmental and nonprofit accounting, and topics related to ethical leadership and decision-making.

My scholarly interests explore how accounting information shapes organizational behavior, ethical decision-making, and public trust. I am particularly interested in nonprofit and governmental accountability, fraud examination and prevention, the tax implications affecting nonprofit organizations, innovative approaches to accounting education, and the opportunities and ethical challenges associated with generative AI in business and higher education.
