An umbrella description of my research interests might be "Studies of free radicals involved in antioxidant properties of drugs, food additives, and phytochemicals." These studies are based on electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy, and my recent advanced lab students have been investigating compounds such as BPA (and related molecules), curcumin, amodiaquine, parabens, flavanols, etc.
