In honor of Mrs. Esther Thomas Atkinson ( 1884 -1994), founder and curator of the Museum, 1968 – 1994, who dedicated three quarters of her lifetime to the preservation of College history.
Bowman Heritage Society, $5,000 - $9,999
Named in honor of Anne Kelly Bowman, educator for over forty years, whose significant gifts in memory of her son, Cecil Richard Bowman, M.D, (1945-1977), Class of 1967, provide the museum’s endowment and laid the foundation for the Museum as we know it today.
Spencer Patron Society, $2,500 - $4,999
Named in honor of S. Bruce and Gladys C. Spencer, Class of 1937, whose significant gifts enabled the museum to secure significant and much needed expansion.

All gifts to the Esther T. Atkinson Museum will be contributions to Hampden-Sydney College and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
