Inclement Weather/Storm Policy
Leggett Pool follows a strict Storm Policy outlined by the American Red Cross for lightening and thunder. The policy states that at first sighting of lightening or sound of thunder a thirty (30) minute period will start until thunder and lightening have stopped and left the area. Throughout the summer months, we experience inclement weather and may need to close the pool. The director is the only person who can close the pool or cut staff in the event of rain or inclement weather. Refunds are not available for rain days.

The Fitness Center gives you the opportunity to work out individually and in group fitness classes.

Group Fitness Schedule

The easiest way to get involved in team sports is to form a team on your own, and Hampden-Sydney offers many opportunities.

Disc Golf

The Hampden-Sydney College Disc Golf Course features nine par-3 holes that challenge players with water hazards, tight wooded fairways, and medium distance drives. The total distance of the course covers 3/4 of a mile that begins and ends right outside the Kirk Athletic Center. The course accommdates both beginners and experts alike and is open to all Hampden-Sydney area community members.
